Modern day core shamanism has its roots in the same methodologies as ancient and indigenous shamanic practices. How they are applied and practiced might differ, but the intent remains the same, to access our teachers and guides in non-ordinary reality, to access their wisdom and knowledge, to heal those in need in this reality. This includes the healing of our natural world and to help us walk in balance with the Earth.
We would like to make this practice available to all communities, lifting the notions of mystery, and emphasising our respect for all of the natural world recognising our embedded relationship, we are the earth, the earth is us.
Shamanism is an attitude, a way of living, a way of communicating, away of loving, a way of supporting and spreading hope and positivity as well as a healing methodology.
This weekend workshop will introduce participants to ‘shamanic journeying’ a cross-cultural shamanic method of entering non-ordinary reality to retrieve information for the benefit of an individual or community.
The shamanic journey is one of the extraordinary methods available to explore parallel worlds and universes and to meet with the spirits that support us, in animal, nature and human form, we are after all part of nature with no separation.
Those partaking will be introduced and instructed into this method of shamanic journeying with the assistance of traditional shamanic tools such as the drum, voice and rattle, thus enabling you to explore the shamanic state of consciousness, in a magical but safe environment.
Through the teaching of this methodology, we will offer the opportunity for you to meet with your own spiritual helpers and teachers in non-ordinary reality, introducing you to ways of accessing healing, transformation and balance for oneself, and your community

Meadow Farmhouse has a wonderful soulful workshop space with 8acres of land and a woodland stream. We will be working outdoors with spirits of nature as well as indoors reaching out to our spirit guides.
This is a two-day, with an introduction to the work on Friday evening, non-residential workshop. A chance to sit in circle, celebrating our connections to the web of life, that will empower you to move forward into your life with fun, compassion and sharing.
